Role Description

This is an internship role for a Video Editing Intern at Shopto. Located remote, the intern will be involved in day-to-day tasks such as editing and managing videos, collaborating with the marketing team to design and create innovative videos and conducting content reviews. The intern will gain hands-on experience in content creation project.

Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns
• Create basic motion graphics, transitions, and text animations
• Assist in developing reels, ads, explainer videos, and promotional content
• Optimize videos for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Organize and manage raw footage, assets, and project files
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions efficiently

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
• Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios (9:16, 16:9, 1:1), and exports
• Creative mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
• Strong interest in video editing, motion graphics, or content creation

Good to Have (Optional)

• Experience with motion graphics or animations
• Familiarity with social media trends and reels
• Basic knowledge of sound design or color correction
