Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Intern Video Editor role based in Nagpur. The intern will support the post-production team by organizing footage, assembling rough cuts, and editing videos for corporate films, short films, and digital content under supervision. Daily tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, syncing audio, adding transitions, basic motion graphics, and assisting with color correction and sound refinement. The intern will collaborate with directors, producers, and graphic designers to align edits with creative briefs and client guidelines. The role also involves exporting and formatting final deliverables for various platforms, maintaining project files, and learning studio workflows, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Foundational skills in Video Production and an understanding of filming workflows and shot types.
  • Strong interest and basic competency in Video Editing, including assembling timelines and refining cuts.
  • Introductory knowledge of Video Color Grading to enhance and maintain visual consistency.
  • Exposure to Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, and simple visual elements.
  • Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
  • Attention to detail, good visual storytelling sense, and ability to follow creative direction and feedback.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in film, media, design, communication, or a related field is preferred.
  • Portfolio or sample work (academic, personal, or freelance projects) demonstrating editing capability is an advantage.
