Job Summary

The Video Editor Intern will support the creation and editing of video content for hospital branding, patient education, and digital platforms. This internship provides hands-on experience in healthcare communication, combining creative media skills with medical content sensitivity.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing Support

Assist in editing videos for:

  • Patient education (procedures, health awareness)
  • Doctor interviews and testimonials
  • Hospital promotional and social media content
  • Trim footage, arrange clips, and add basic transitions

Creative Assistance

  • Support in adding subtitles, graphics, and simple animations
  • Help design thumbnails and short video formats (reels/shorts)
  • Participate in brainstorming content ideas

Technical Tasks

  • Work with editing tools such as:
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • After Effects (basic level)
  • Final Cut Pro (optional)
  • Organize and manage video files and media assets
  • Assist in basic color correction and audio syncing

Content Coordination

  • Collaborate with the marketing and clinical teams
  • Support video shoots (setup, basic camera handling, lighting)
  • Follow instructions from senior editors and content leads

Compliance & Ethics

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and data privacy
  • Ensure content aligns with hospital guidelines and approvals

Learning Opportunities

  • Exposure to healthcare marketing and patient education content
  • Hands-on experience in video editing and production workflows

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in:
  • Visual Communication
  • Media / Film Studies
  • Multimedia / Animation
  • Basic knowledge of video editing tools
