Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern to join our team. As a Video Editor Intern, you will assist in creating engaging video content for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build a strong portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in editing raw video footage into high-quality content
- Collaborate with the content/marketing team to understand project requirements
- Add music, sound effects, transitions, and graphics to videos
- Create short-form content for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Ensure timely delivery of video projects
- Maintain consistency in brand style and tone
- Organize and manage video files and assets
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools)
- Understanding of video formats, editing techniques, and storytelling
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation
- Familiarity with social media content trends
- Basic colour correction and audio editing skills
- Experience with Canva or other graphic design tools
