Role Overview

We are looking for a high-level video editor who doesn't just edit videos—but crafts cinematic stories.

This role is for someone who understands documentary-style storytelling, advanced motion & 3D effects and can translate complex ideas into immersive, emotionally engaging visual narratives. You should be deeply familiar with the James Jani–style of editing—clean, intentional, dramatic pacing with powerful storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form documentary-style videos with strong narrative flow and cinematic pacing
• Create immaculate storytelling-driven edits using visuals, sound design, and motion
• Use Adobe Premiere Pro for primary editing and After Effects for motion graphics, VFX, and 3D-style compositions
• Design and integrate advanced transitions, kinetic typography, overlays and visual metaphors
• Enhance storytelling through music selection, sound design, silence and timing
• Collaborate with scriptwriters and creative leads to visually elevate written narratives
• Maintain high aesthetic standards aligned with global documentary creators
• Ensure consistency in tone, quality and visual identity across all content

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
• Proven experience in documentary / cinematic / storytelling-style editing
• Familiarity with James Jani–style editing (or similar creators)
• Ability to work with 3D-style effects, depth, parallax and cinematic compositions
• Deep understanding of story arcs, pacing, tension and emotional beats
• Excellent sense of visual hierarchy, typography and color grading
• Ability to turn raw footage into a powerful narrative experience
