Role Overview
We're looking for a Video Editing Intern who is creatively inclined, understands storytelling through visuals, and can turn around edits quickly. If you live inside Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, love experimenting with formats, and enjoy giving emotion a visual language - this role is for you. You'll work closely with the content, production, and marketing teams to craft the videos that shape Tape A Tale's presence online.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit shortform and longform videos for Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Adapt raw footage into engaging, clean, and storydriven edits.
- Maintain Tape A Tale's visual style and storytelling tone across all edits.
- Track ongoing trends, editing styles, transitions, and formats to keep content fresh.
- Support in basic production tasks when required (framing, lighting checks, sound assistance).
- Work closely with the creative and events teams to ensure timely delivery of edits.
- Organize and manage footage, project files, and content libraries efficiently.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong awareness of social media trends and the editing styles that work.
- Quick turnaround time with the ability to handle multiple edits.
- A creative eye for pacing, rhythm, emotion, and storytelling.
- Must have its own editing setup (laptop + editing software).
- Knowledge of video production is an added bonus.
- Availability for a 6 month internship.
