Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Video Editor Intern to join our growing Tech Operations team. In this role, you will work with football and other sports match recordings to create engaging player highlights and match videos. You will identify important moments, edit footage, and produce high-quality highlight clips for players, teams, and tournaments.

This role is ideal for someone who loves football, enjoys video editing and storytelling, and wants towork at the intersection of sports and technology.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Watch and review full football match recordings.
• Identify important player actions and key match events.
• Create player-specific highlight videos from match footage.
• Edit and produce clean, engaging, and professionally organized highlight clips.
• Assist in preparing match highlights and other sports video content.
• Add timestamps, trim footage, and organize clips for easy access and publishing.
• Maintain consistency and quality while processing multiple matches.
• Work closely with the ML and product teams to support video tagging and analysis workflows.
• Support match video operations and content creation activities as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong passion for football and deep interest in the sport.
• Good understanding of football rules, gameplay, and player positions.
• Regularly watches football matches and follows the sport closely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify key moments quickly.
• Basic video editing skills and comfort working with video editing tools.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in video editing, sports content creation, or highlight production.
• Experience using video editing or video tagging tools.
• Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar software.
• Played football at school, college, academy, or club level.
• Familiarity with football tactics and formations.
• Interest in sports technology and analytics.
