About the Role

We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and driven Video Editor Intern to join our team in Jaipur. You'll work hands-on with the marketing and design team to turn ideas, product stories, events, and raw footage into engaging videos for social media and digital platforms. This is a great opportunity to build real-world video editing and visual storytelling experience in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

• Edit short-form videos, reels, social media videos, event content, product videos, and other digital content
• Transform raw footage, screen recordings, images, and creative assets into polished, engaging videos
• Add captions, subtitles, transitions, music, sound effects, motion graphics, and other visual elements where appropriate
• Create video content that clearly communicates Genex products, technologies, projects, and brand stories
• Repurpose existing content into platform-specific formats for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant platforms
• Collaborate with the marketing and design team to understand briefs, timelines, brand guidelines, and campaign objectives
• Keep up with current video formats, editing styles, hooks, trends, and social media content patterns, and pitch fresh ideas
• Organize project files, footage, assets, and exports efficiently while meeting agreed deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Strong interest in video editing, visual storytelling, social media content, and digital media
• Good sense of pacing, composition, typography, music, transitions, and visual hierarchy
• Basic working knowledge of at least one video editing tool such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar
• Creativity, attention to detail, initiative, and willingness to learn quickly
• Ability to understand feedback and collaborate well with a creative team
• Ability to work on-site in Jaipur on a full-time basis

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Basic working knowledge of video editing and digital content creation
• Interest or experience in editing short-form videos, reels, social media content, or promotional videos
• Good visual judgment and attention to detail
• A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude, with the ability to collaborate well in an on-site team environment

Good to Have

• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar editing tools
• Basic understanding of motion graphics, color correction, audio editing, subtitles, and video optimization for social platforms
• Familiarity with Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn video, and other short-form content formats
• A portfolio, college projects, personal edits, Instagram page, YouTube channel, or other examples of video work
• Current or completed studies in Film/Video Production, Mass Communication, Design, Media, or a related field
