About the Role
IHS is looking for a creative Video Editor to join our team and help create engaging, professional video content for our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit reels, talking-head videos, interviews, podcasts, and other social media content.
- Turn long-form recordings into engaging short-form videos.
- Handle cuts, pacing, transitions, subtitles, audio, and colour correction.
- Create basic motion graphics, text animations, and visual effects where required.
- Assist with video recording and camera, lighting, framing, and audio setup when needed.
- Work closely with the content and marketing teams to bring scripts and creative ideas to life.
- Maintain consistency with IHS's visual identity and content style.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in video editing or content production.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and motion graphics.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, typography, audio, and visual composition.
- Understanding of camera, lighting, and recording setups.
- Strong attention to detail and a good creative eye.
- Ability to independently take raw footage and deliver polished final videos.
Good to Have
- Experience editing podcasts, interviews, talking-head videos, or reels.
- Experience creating content for AI, technology, B2B, or research-oriented brands.
- Knowledge of colour grading and sound design.
Portfolio is required.
- We are looking for someone who is strong in video editing, with a good understanding of motion graphics, and the ability to support video production when required.
