Part-Time Video Editor (Kolkata | Hybrid)

Who you will be working for:

We're hiring a Video Editor to support content production for a highly recognized motivational business YouTuber and content creator who regularly publishes across YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

The content focuses on career growth, business insights, mindset, and practical guidance for professionals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on meaningful, impact-driven content and wants to grow alongside an expanding creator-led content ecosystem.

Location Requirement

Candidates must be based in Kolkata and available to travel once a week to New Town Office for planning and coordination.

Role Type

• Part-time (2-3 working days per week)
• Hybrid (mostly remote + 1 in-office day weekly)
• Potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance

What You'll Work On:

• Editing talk-to-camera YouTube videos

• Editing Instagram Reels & short-form videos

• Preparing shorter clips from long-form recordings

• Adding captions, zoom cuts, pacing improvements

• Applying simple transitions and engagement-focused edits

• Supporting weekly content workflow execution

This role does NOT require heavy animation or advanced motion graphics experience.

Tools:

You should be comfortable using:

• Video editing softwares like CapCut (mobile and desktop), iMovie, VN (Premiere Pro experience is a plus)

• Any similar video editing platform

Language Requirements

Must have:

• Strong Bengali (spoken + written)

• Strong English (spoken + written)

Good to have:

• Hindi (spoken + written)
