Job Summary
A Video Editor is responsible for editing raw footage into high-quality videos for various platforms such as social media, websites, films, or advertisements. They work closely with directors, content creators, and marketing teams to produce engaging visual content.
Key Responsibilities
Review and organize raw video footage
Trim, cut, and arrange clips into a cohesive sequence
Add music, sound effects, voice overs, and dialogue
Incorporate graphics, titles, captions, and animations
Adjust color, lighting, and visual effects for consistency
Ensure videos meet brand guidelines and project objectives
Collaborate with team members to understand creative direction
Revise edits based on feedback and deadlines
Export videos in appropriate formats for different platforms
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinc Resolve)
Basic knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects is a plus)
Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
Understanding of video formats, codecs, and resolutions
Attention to detail and creativity
Time management and ability to meet deadlines
Communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Any Graduation
Experience with social media video content (YouTube, Instagram)
Knowledge of sound editing and color grading
Stippend - 5,000 – 15000
