About the JobWe are looking for a video editor to create 30–60 second high-performing video ads using provided footage and structured scripts. This role is focused on editing for attention, retention, and conversion — not just making things look good.
Edit with intention. Every cut, caption, and sound should serve a purpose. Videos should feel:
- Fast-paced but controlled
- Clean, modern, and premium
- Emotionally engaging without being overdramatic
- Cut for retention, not aesthetics
- Prioritize the first 3 seconds (hook performance is critical)
- Keep pacing tight — no wasted frames
Think– Why would someone stop scrolling for this
We are not looking for over-edited content. Strong editors know when to hold and when to cut.
Ideal Candidate- Maintain strong pacing and eliminate dead moments
- Reinforce key moments with captions, zooms, and sound design
- Create a natural, conversational flow that keeps viewers watching
- Match visuals to emotional beats in the script
Job Requirements- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc. (Bonus if you understand After Effects)
- Experience editing vertical (9:16) content for social media.
- Ability to add clean text stacks with subtle sound effects.
- Ability to identify the right background music.
- Strong sense of timing, rhythm, and storytelling.
- Experience with AI tools (Runway, Veo, Higgsfield...)
- Strong understanding of high-performing ad structures.
