Job Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor with expertise in editing YouTube videos, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, ads creatives, and performance videos. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for high-quality content and storytelling, as well as technical proficiency in video editing tools. If the candidate also has experience in shooting video content, it will be a significant advantage. This role demands creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively to deliver impactful videos aligned with the brand's vision.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Video Editing for Digital Platforms:

  • Edit YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other social media content to ensure engagement and visual appeal.
  • Create performance-focused ad creatives for marketing campaigns.
  • Optimize videos for platform-specific requirements and trends.

2. Storytelling & Content Quality:

  • Ensure that all videos align with the brand's storytelling goals and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Add dynamic elements, transitions, and effects to enhance visual impact while keeping the content professional.

3.Performance Video Creation:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce videos designed for performance-based campaigns.
  • Understand audience behavior and optimize content to drive desired results.

4.Shooting Skills (Preferred):

  • If required, shoot high-quality video content for social media, campaigns, and events.
  • Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and other equipment to capture visually compelling footage.

5.Collaboration & Feedback:

  • Work closely with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to meet campaign goals.
  • Incorporate feedback to refine videos and deliver within deadlines.

6.Staying Up-to-Date:

  • Stay current with trends in video editing, social media formats, and content creation.
  • Experiment with new styles and techniques to keep the content fresh and relevant.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in video editing, with a portfolio demonstrating work on YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, ads, and performance videos.
  • Experience in shooting video content is a significant plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (preferred).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar).
  • Knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and sound equipment (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and social media trends.
