We're looking for an editor who understands that the real magic lies in rhythm, emotion, and story flow, not just transitions and cuts.

What You'll DoEditing & Storytelling
- Edit short-form and long-form content like Reels, campaigns, YouTube videos, brand films, and podcast episodes.
- Build narratives through pacing, tone, and music, and not just by assembling footage.
- Create platform-first edits that hook instantly and retain till the end.
- Work with the creative and strategy teams to align edits with brand intent.
- Use text, motion, and sound to amplify emotion and engagement.
Creative Collaboration
- Partner with cinematographers, producers, and designers to ensure smooth handoffs and unified storytelling.
- Experiment with new trends, editing formats, and transitions to evolve brand styles.
- Apply creative feedback with speed and intent.
- Stay updated on emerging tools, styles, and workflows (AI, CapCut, Runway, Descript, etc.).
Quality & Performance
- Optimize edits for platform behavior: hooks, subtitles, pacing, aspect ratios, and export settings.
- Maintain visual and storytelling consistency across deliverables.
- Review and version content for different formats (vertical, square, horizontal).
Who You Are- 24 years of editing experience across social, branded, or digital video.
- A storyteller at heart, and you edit for emotion and rhythm, not just a deliverable.
- Obsessed with pacing, audio layering, and storytelling flow.
- Proficient in Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic comfort with After Effects for motion text, transitions, or light compositing.
- Strong awareness of Reels, YouTube, and podcast trends.
- Curious, experimental, and always chasing better visual energy.
- Bonus: Experience editing multi-camera podcast setups or event footage.
Nice-to-Haves (Optional)- Motion graphics or basic animation skills.
- Understanding of sound design and color grading.
- Experience editing branded content, ad films, or documentaries.
- A showreel/portfolio that shows variety, from performance-driven Reels to storytelling-led long-form.
