Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce engaging visual content for documentaries, interviews, and digital news stories. The ideal candidate should be passionate about storytelling and capable of transforming raw footage into impactful videos that connect with audiences across multiple digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form and short-form video content, including documentaries, interviews, news reports, and feature stories.
• Create visually engaging videos for YouTube, websites, and social media channels.
• Work closely with journalists, producers, and the creative team to develop compelling narratives.
• Add graphics, lower thirds, transitions, subtitles, and other visual elements when required.
• Enhance video quality through basic color correction, audio balancing, and editing techniques.
• Maintain organized project files and media assets.
• Ensure all videos meet editorial standards and are delivered on schedule.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in video editing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects or equivalent motion graphics software.
• Excellent understanding of editing techniques, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for documentary production, journalism, and factual storytelling.

Preferred

• Experience editing content for YouTube and other digital platforms.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, color grading, and audio enhancement.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a creative team.
