ROLE OVERVIEW
AVW Storytellers is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and passionate Video Editor & Graphic Designer who can contribute across both video production and visual design. The ideal candidate should understand digital storytelling, audience engagement, and content trends, while creating visually impactful content for multiple platforms.
You will play a key role in producing high-quality content that strengthens brand communication, improves engagement, and supports marketing campaigns.
KEY OBJECTIVES
- Deliver high-quality video and graphic content across digital platforms.
- Maintain consistency in branding and visual communication.
- Create engaging, platform-specific content tailored to audience behavior.
- Support marketing initiatives through impactful visual storytelling.
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
VIDEO EDITING
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, campaigns, websites, and promotional content.
- Ensure smooth storytelling, pacing, and audience retention.
- Add transitions, music, sound effects, subtitles, and basic motion graphics.
- Optimize videos for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
- Design social media creatives, thumbnails, banners, presentations, and marketing assets.
- Maintain consistency in typography, layouts, and brand identity.
- Create clean, modern, and visually engaging designs aligned with campaign goals.
CONTENT EXECUTION
- Understand creative briefs and convert ideas into effective visual outputs.
- Adapt content according to platform requirements and trends.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams during ideation and execution.
QUALITY & DELIVERY
- Ensure all deliverables meet brand and quality standards.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.
- Take feedback positively and implement revisions promptly.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
VIDEO EDITING SKILLS
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual flow.
- Basic knowledge of sound design and editing techniques.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects is an added advantage.
GRAPHIC DESIGN SKILLS
- Strong understanding of layout design, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to create clean, modern, and engaging designs.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar tools.
