Video Editor (Full Time)

Location: Chandigarh preferred | Remote considered for the right candidate

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Video Editor to build the personal content channels of SSI founders Jaspreet and Raavi. The founders will provide raw/basic footage from their daily business and personal lives. Your job is to turn that footage into engaging, polished, ready-to-publish content for YouTube, Instagram and Shorts/Reels.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN:

• Edit founder-led YouTube vlogs and videos with strong storytelling, pacing, hooks and B-roll

• Turn long-form footage into Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts

• Take raw footage to final, publish-ready videos, including basic graphics, subtitles, music and sound design

• Create or coordinate YouTube thumbnails and basic video packaging

• Maintain an organised editing pipeline and footage library

• Suggest edits, formats and content angles rather than simply following instructions

• Review performance and improve hooks, pacing and formats based on what works

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Strong understanding of YouTube vlogging and storytelling

• Strong short-form editing skills for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts

• Good sense of pacing, hooks, retention, music, sound and visual storytelling

• Comfortable editing founder/business/lifestyle content, including unscripted footage

• Ability to work independently and take raw footage to final output without extensive hand-holding

• Experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar

A PLUS:

Experience with founder-led channels, business/lifestyle vlogs, D2C/e-commerce, travel, sports or skateboarding content

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

A consistent pipeline of high-quality YouTube videos + Reels/Shorts, with the founders mainly focused on capturing and sending footage while you own the editing and packaging through to publish-ready output
