Job Outline
The Video Editor at Dreamfoot will play a key role in crafting impactful and visually engaging stories across corporate, safety, product, and podcast projects. This role demands creativity, technical proficiency, and an eye for design to deliver high-quality video content that aligns with client objectives.
In addition to strong video editing skills, the candidate should possess a solid understanding of motion graphics to enhance storytelling, brand communication, and overall production quality. By managing edits independently and collaborating with the creative team, the Video Editor will help strengthen Dreamfoot's reputation for creativity, reliability, and world-class video production.
Role & Key Responsibilities
1. Video Editing & Production
- Edit corporate, industrial, and product marketing videos.
- Edit podcasts (audio + video format).
- Edit safety training and incident recreation videos.
- Work on multi-cam setups, green screen edits, and basic colour grading.
- Incorporate motion graphics, text animations, and visual effects to elevate video content.
2. Creativity, Storytelling & Motion Design
- Follow project briefs while bringing fresh, engaging ideas to every project.
- Apply strong storytelling, pacing, and visual design principles in editing.
- Create motion graphics sequences that enhance communication and viewer engagement.
- Collaborate with the design team to integrate brand elements seamlessly within videos.
- Ensure all edits meet both client expectations and company standards.
3. Project Execution
- Manage projects independently with a strong focus on timelines and quality.
- Deliver high-quality final outputs under tight deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively with the creative, production, and design teams.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mass Communication, Multimedia, Film Studies, Animation, or a related field.
- Experience: 13 years of full-time video editing experience in a production house or media agency.
- Domain Knowledge: Prior work in corporate videos, motion graphics, podcast editing, or safety training videos preferred.
- Location: Must be willing to work full-time from our Vadodara office with a professional and positive attitude.
- Note: This is a full-time, in-office position based in Vadodara, Gujarat. Candidates selected for this role will be required to relocate to Vadodara. We are seeking immediate joiners for this position.
Must-Have Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro & Adobe After Effects (primary editing tool).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in corporate video editing (mandatory).
- Proficiency in Creating motion graphics and visual effects.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of DaVinci Resolve for colour grading.
- Strong knowledge of corporate video workflows and storytelling techniques.
- Experience in podcast editing (video + audio sync).
- Understanding of safety video structure & educational formats (advantage).
- Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
