Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with a strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, editing techniques, and motion graphics.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects and should have the ability to take raw footage, understand the intended message, and turn it into a polished and engaging final video.

This role is ideal for someone who is not just technically good at editing but also understands how to tell a story through visuals, music, sound, transitions, pacing, and emotion.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, advertisements, brands, and digital platforms.
• Transform raw footage into engaging and professionally structured videos.
• Understand the objective of each project and create edits that communicate the intended message clearly.
• Apply strong storytelling principles to create a natural flow and maintain audience attention.
• Select appropriate shots, music, sound effects, transitions, and visual elements.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.

Creative Skills

• Strong visual storytelling ability.
• Good sense of timing, rhythm, pacing, and composition.

Preferred Qualifications

These are not mandatory but will be an advantage:

• Experience editing advertisements, social media content, promotional videos, reels, YouTube videos, or branded content.
• Knowledge of basic color grading.
• Knowledge of sound design and audio mixing.
• Basic graphic design knowledge.
• Understanding of current Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form content trends.
• Experience creating motion graphics in After Effects.
• A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating editing and storytelling ability.

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates should be prepared to share a portfolio, showreel, or examples of previous video editing work.

Compensation

₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month

Salary will depend on the candidate's experience, editing skills, portfolio quality, storytelling ability, and overall performance.
