Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Video Editor based in Hyderabad, with flexibility for partial remote work. The Video Editor will be responsible for end-to-end video post-production, including editing reels, promos, event videos, political creatives, movie-related content, and branded campaigns. The role involves transforming raw footage into engaging social media content, incorporating motion graphics, sound design, color grading, and visual effects to create high-quality digital storytelling.
The candidate will also collaborate closely with the creative team to conceptualize and execute trend-driven content tailored for platforms like Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other digital media channels.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Video Editing and Video Production, with strong experience in assembling, cutting, and enhancing video content.
- Skilled in Video Color Grading to maintain cinematic visual consistency and achieve the desired aesthetic quality.
- Experience in Motion Graphics, Typography, and creating engaging Graphics for reels and promotional content.
- Ability to create high-impact content for:
- Political campaigns and creatives
- Movie promotions and fan edits
- Brand collaborations
- Event highlights and celebrity coverage
- Strong understanding of social media trends, audience retention, and viral reel formats.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Strong creativity, storytelling ability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Self-motivated mindset with the ability to independently ideate and create content from raw footage.
- Prior experience in the film, media, entertainment, or digital content industry is a plus.
- Degree or certification in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
