Role Description The Video Editor role at FCS Filings is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. In this role, the Video Editor will edit raw footage into polished videos, including cutting, sequencing, and adding audio elements to meet project requirements and brand guidelines. The position involves performing color correction and grading, creating or integrating motion graphics and basic graphic elements, and collaborating with content and production teams to develop engaging visual stories. The Video Editor will manage file organization, maintain project libraries, ensure timely delivery of assets, and follow quality standards and feedback processes for continuous improvement.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and the ability to work across the video creation lifecycle.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing and Video Color Grading to produce visually consistent and compelling content.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design and integrate visual elements that enhance storytelling.
• Proficiency with industry-standard video editing and graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop or similar tools).
• Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and understanding of pacing, composition, and sound design.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred, along with a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work.
