The Role

We are looking for a Video Editor who understands the language of modern social media.This role is about editing fast, engaging, high-retention short-form videos for platforms like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. You will work closely with the content team to transform raw footage into content that stops the scroll, holds attention, and drives engagement

What You'll Do

• Edit short-form social media videos (Reels / Shorts).
• Add hooks, pacing, subtitles, cuts, transitions, and visual elements that improve retention.
• Use text overlays, sound effects, memes, and motion graphics to enhance storytelling.
• Turn raw footage into high-engagement social media content.
• Work closely with the content team to experiment with new formats and editing styles.
• Ensure content is edited and delivered quickly and consistently.

What We're Looking For

• Strong understanding of short-form social media editing styles.
• Ability to edit fast-paced, engaging videos optimized for retention.
• Good understanding of internet culture, memes, and social media trends.
• Experience with editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, or similar tools.

Bonus Points

• Experience editing viral short-form content.
• Familiarity with creator or influencer content formats.
• Ability to create basic motion graphics or visual effects.
• Understanding of what drives views, retention, and engagement on social platforms.
