Role Description The Video Editor Executive role at Protrainy is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhubaneswar. The role involves planning, editing, and producing video content for online courses, marketing campaigns, and social media platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing raw footage, selecting and assembling the best takes, adding transitions, titles, motion graphics, and sound, and ensuring consistent color grading and overall visual quality. The Video Editor Executive will collaborate closely with trainers, instructional designers, and the marketing team to translate educational concepts into engaging visual content and maintain brand standards across all multimedia materials. The role also includes managing video assets, optimizing file formats for different platforms, and meeting project timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for educational and promotional content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and professional visual quality.
- Ability to create Motion Graphics and work with Graphics for intros, overlays, and visual explanations.
- Experience with industry-standard editing and design software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Illustrator or equivalents).
- Good understanding of audio editing, basic sound design, and syncing voice-overs with visuals.
- Attention to detail, strong visual storytelling skills, and the ability to follow brand and style guidelines.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with trainers and cross-functional teams.
- Relevant diploma or degree in film, media, multimedia, design, or a related field; comparable practical experience is also valued.
- Familiarity with e-learning or educational content creation is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work on-site in Bhubaneswar, and meet deadlines consistently.
