Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Eventful Singapore. The Video Editor will edit short-form video content for social platforms, ensuring pacing, transitions, and storytelling align with brand objectives. Responsibilities include assembling raw footage, applying color grading, incorporating motion graphics and simple graphic elements, and optimizing content for multiple formats and aspect ratios. The role involves collaborating with producers and creatives to refine concepts, maintain consistent visual standards, and deliver projects on schedule. The Video Editor will also help organize media assets, manage project files, and stay current with trends in social video and digital content.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Video Editing and Video Production skills to assemble and refine high-quality short-form content.
• Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills to ensure consistent, appealing visuals across diverse brands and campaigns.
• Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual effects tailored to social platforms.
• Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, attention to detail, and ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment are required.
• Good communication skills and experience collaborating with creative or marketing teams are advantageous.
• Prior work on social-first content (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and a portfolio showcasing relevant projects will be considered a plus.
