Role Overview

The Video Editor is responsible for complete post-production across mixed content formats. This is a production-critical role. The editor is expected to deliver platform-native, brand-aligned video outputs with speed, consistency, and judgment.

Employment Details

  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Work mode: Hybrid
  • Work hours: 40 hours per week
  • Compensation: 25,000 30,000 per month (Based On Skill)
  • Joining timeline: Within 1 month
  • Freelancers: Not eligible

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form and long-form videos including reels, ads, podcasts, explainers, and brand films
  • Handle end-to-end post-production: cuts, pacing, sound balancing, color correction, basic grading
  • Create and integrate motion graphics, text animations, and transitions where required
  • Adapt content for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and paid media
  • Maintain visual consistency across brands and content types
  • Execute strictly against creative briefs and timelines
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously without hand-holding
  • Maintain clean project files, version control, and export-ready assets

Tools & Software

Mandatory proficiency in:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Adobe After Effects
  • DaVinci Resolve

AI & Workflow Efficiency Expectations

  • Working knowledge of AI-assisted tools for video editing and post-production
  • Ability to use AI tools to accelerate workflows such as rough cuts, subtitles, sound cleanup, color assistance, masking, and asset generation
  • Familiarity with AI-powered features within editing software and external tools for efficiency and speed
  • Judgment to use AI as a productivity enhancer, not as a creative replacement
  • Openness to adopting new tools and workflows to reduce turnaround time without compromising quality

Required Skills

  • Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling
  • Clear understanding of social-media-first content behavior
  • Working knowledge of motion graphics
  • Sound sense and music alignment
  • High discipline in deadlines and file organization

Experience

  • 13 years of professional video editing experience
  • Portfolio demonstrating mixed-format and branded content
