About The Role
EDMO is looking for a creative and performance-driven Video Editor to lead visual storytelling across digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in editing engaging short-form and long-form content for social media, brand campaigns, product explainers, podcasts, and SaaS/EdTech marketing initiatives.
This role requires someone who understands modern content trends, platform-specific storytelling, and audience retention strategies while maintaining a strong brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, podcasts, ads, and website campaigns.
- Create engaging short-form content including reels, shorts, snippets, and motion graphics.
- Collaborate with the marketing, content, and product teams to conceptualize campaigns and visual narratives.
- Work on AI/SaaS product explainer videos, founder-led content, and educational storytelling.
- Add transitions, subtitles, animations, sound design, and visual enhancements for platform optimization.
- Ensure all content aligns with EDMO's brand tone and communication style.
- Stay updated with current social media trends, editing styles, and audience engagement techniques.
- Manage raw footage, assets, and editing workflows efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing social media content, brand campaigns, or SaaS/EdTech projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Experience with motion graphics, typography, and visual storytelling.
- Understanding of social media algorithms, audience retention, and content performance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and creative collaboration skills.

- Experience editing founder-led or podcast-style content.
- Exposure to AI, SaaS, or EdTech brands.
