Role Description The Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role involves editing raw video footage into cohesive, high-quality content for various formats, such as social media, corporate videos, and promotional materials. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and trimming footage, applying transitions, synchronizing audio, color correcting and grading, and integrating motion graphics and text overlays. The Video Editor will collaborate with producers, graphic designers, and other team members to interpret briefs, maintain brand consistency, and meet project timelines. The role also requires exporting final deliverables in appropriate formats and maintaining an organized archive of video assets.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience using industry-standard editing software.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain consistent look and feel.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling and branding.
• Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to follow creative briefs and brand guidelines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site team environment.
• Relevant experience in video editing for commercial, social media, or corporate projects; portfolio or showreel required.
• Knowledge of audio editing basics and video formats, codecs, and export settings.
• Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred but equivalent experience is considered.
