We're hiring ahigh-performance Video Editorwho can deliverfast, premium social media editsconsistently and help raise the output standard of the studio.
This is not an entry-level seat.
What you'll own- Edit high-performanceReels/Shorts(food, retail, lifestyle, founder-led content)
- Deliverspeed + consistencywithout quality drops
- Build repeatable systems: templates, presets, file structure, versioning
- Handle multiple edits per day with clear priorities
- Work closely with the founder + PM on direction, deadlines, and quality control
- Support junior editors through review and feedback (if needed)
Must-have skills- 15+ years editing experience (social media-focused)
- Strong reel showingshort-form pacing, retention hooks, and clean polish
- Premiere Pro + After Effects must or DaVinci
- Strong sense of rhythm, storytelling, and platform-native editing
- Deadline discipline and clean handoff habits (naming, versions, exports)
Bonus skills (nice to have)- Color grading fundamentals
- Sound design basics
- Motion graphics for social (titles, supers, simple compositing)
- AI-assisted workflow familiarity (only if it improves speed/quality)
Performance expectations (clear)- Consistent daily output (multiple short-form deliverables)
- Low revision rate through good first-cut judgment
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing formats and trends
