Job Overview
Dog Home Foundation is looking for a highly creative and experienced Senior Video Editor & Creative Strategist who has at least 5 years of professional experience and strong knowledge of NGO video editing, especially in the animal welfare category. The ideal candidate should be skilled in editing powerful emotional stories for social media, fundraising campaigns, and marketing purposes.
This role requires someone who can not only edit videos but also contribute creatively through script writing, voiceover understanding, storytelling, and marketing strategies to produce engaging and result-driven content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality social media videos, campaign videos, and advertisement videos for Dog Home Foundation.
- Create emotionally engaging videos for animal rescue, treatment, shelter, and fundraising campaigns.
- Develop creative concepts and storytelling formats suitable for digital platforms.
- Write or assist in script writing for campaign videos, ads, reels, and social media content.
- Coordinate voiceover flow, pacing, emotions, and presentation for impactful video delivery.
- Bring innovative ideas and strategies to improve marketing videos and increase audience engagement.
- Create platform-specific content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and digital ad campaigns.
- Ensure videos align with the organization's mission, branding, and fundraising objectives.
- Suggest new trends, formats, hooks, and creative directions for better video performance.
- Handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines consistently.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in video editing.
- Prior experience working with NGOs, preferably in the animal welfare category.
- Strong knowledge of editing social media videos, reels, ad creatives, and campaign videos.
- Good understanding of script writing, storytelling, and emotional content creation.
- Knowledge of voiceover scripting and video flow planning.
- Ability to create creative marketing strategies through video content.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, music sense, and audience psychology.
- Ability to work independently in a work-from-home setup.
- Passion for animal welfare and purpose-driven content creation.
