Video Editor Intern (Cricket Enthusiast)

Domain: Cricket content (Reels, Shorts, Long-form)
What you'll actually do (not fluff)
- Edit short-form videos (Reels/Shorts) daily from existing cricket content
- Create high-retention cuts: hooks, jump cuts, captions, sound effects
- Edit occasional long-form videos (YouTube-style)
- Identify viral moments from matches, podcasts, discussions
- Suggest content ideas based on ongoing cricket tournaments, trends, and controversies
- Maintain fast turnaround speed matters more than fancy effects
Non-negotiables (read twice)
- You actively follow cricket (international or domestic)
- If you can't tell what's trending in cricket this week, don't apply.
- Minimum 1 year of video editing experience (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)
- Strong understanding of short-form algorithms (watch time, hooks, pacing)
- Comfortable delivering 34 videos per day
- Can take feedback without ego and improve fast
Nice to have (bonus, not mandatory)
- Experience editing for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, or X
- Understanding of cricket formats, players, leagues, and fan psychology
- Basic thumbnail or caption-writing skills
Internship structure
- 1-month probation period (unpaid)
- Post probation, paid engagement based on performance
