The Role

We're looking for a Video Editor who understands storytelling, not just editing software.

You will work directly on CREDX content and help turn interviews, podcasts, founder conversations, funding stories, and raw footage into content people actually want to watch.

This is a startup role, so we are looking for someone who can take ownership, move quickly, experiment, and bring ideas to the table.

What You'll Do

• Edit YouTube long-form videos including podcasts, interviews, founder conversations, and business content.
• Create high-retention YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn videos.
• Find the strongest moments from long-form conversations and turn them into short-form content.
• Create compelling hooks within the first few seconds.
• Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, sound design, B-roll, and other elements where they improve the story.
• Edit talking-head and podcast footage professionally.
• Create engaging YouTube thumbnails when required.
• Maintain CREDX's visual identity across video content.
• Repurpose one piece of content into multiple formats and platforms.
• Understand current short-form video trends and adapt them intelligently.
• Work with the founder/content team to develop new video formats.
• Meet deadlines and manage your own editing workflow.
• Continuously improve based on audience retention and performance.

What We're Looking For

Skills matter more than degrees.

We genuinely don't care whether you have a degree.

If you can make great videos, show us your work.

You should have:

• Strong video editing and storytelling skills.
• Experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, retention, music, sound design, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to edit both long-form and short-form content.
• Good understanding of YouTube and social media content.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to experiment and try new formats.
• Interest in startups, venture capital, technology, business, creators, or media is a strong plus.

Compensation

₹20,000–₹25,000 per month + Equity

Equity participation will be discussed based on experience, contribution, and role fit.
