Appstone Social is a content creation company helping brands grow through powerful content, creative storytelling, and performance-driven social media strategies. As we expand our client portfolio, we are looking for a talented Video Editor and Content Strategist to join our core team.
This role is for someone who goes beyond editing someone who thinks strategically, plans content with purpose, and takes ownership of the full production process from pre-production to final delivery.
Role: Video Editor & Content Strategist
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Production and Planning
- Plan monthly content shoots in coordination with the team and clients
- Create shot lists, storyboards, and shoot schedules for every project
- Brief the content shooter on angles, lighting, and required footage
- Understand each client's brand tone and plan content accordingly
Video Editing and Post-Production
- Edit high-quality reels, short-form videos, ad creatives, and promotional content
- Add captions, transitions, music, motion graphics, and brand overlays
- Maintain brand consistency in every edit across fonts, colours, tone, and pacing
Content Creation Support
- Assist in developing monthly content calendars alongside the content planner
- Suggest creative video concepts and trending formats for each client
- Stay updated on Instagram, YouTube, and Meta content trends
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips and stories
Who We Are Looking For
- experience in video editing for reels, ads, or social media content
- Proficient in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics
- Proactive approach brings ideas and creative direction, not just execution
- Working knowledge of social media platforms and content performance
Additional advantage if you have experience in After Effects, motion graphics, on-ground shoots, or Meta ad creative production.
