Role Overview
We are looking for a Video Editor & Content Producer who will take ownership of Viva Money's video content across social media platforms, performance marketing, brand campaigns, and product communication. This role demands strong hands-on expertise in video shooting, editing, motion graphics, and 3D animation, with a clear understanding of storytelling, platform behaviour, and performance-driven content.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit videos end-to-end for ads, reels, shorts, YouTube content, product explainers, testimonials, and brand campaigns
- Independently handle video shooting, including framing, lighting, shot planning, and basic audio setup
- Edit videos with a strong focus on storytelling, pacing, hooks, retention, and clear call-to-actions
- Create and integrate motion graphics and 3D animations for product explainers, feature walkthroughs, transitions, and visual storytelling
- Create multiple video variants optimised for platforms such as Meta, YouTube, Shorts, and other social channels
- Collaborate with marketing, growth, and product teams on scripts, storyboards, concepts, and campaign narratives
- Maintain a structured video asset library and ensure quick turnaround times
- Review video performance and optimise content based on engagement, retention, and conversion insights
- Stay updated with evolving video trends, formats, tools, and platform best practices
Required Tools & Skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with motion graphics and 3D animation tools
- Hands-on experience with camera equipment, lighting basics, and audio recording setups
- Experience with AI video tools, such as: Runway, Descript, Pika, Adobe AI features (editing, captions, enhancements)
- Solid understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, codecs, and platform-specific requirements
- Ability to balance creative storytelling with performance-driven outcomes
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in video shooting and editing, preferably in digital-first brands, startups, or performance-driven environments
- A strong portfolio showcasing videos that you have both shot and edited (editing-only profiles will not be considered)
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deliverables, and meet tight timelines
- High ownership mindset with attention to detail and execution quality
