About the Role

Cogito Digital is looking for a creative and passionate video editor to join our team. Whether you're an aspiring editor looking to kickstart your career or an experienced professional, you'll work on creating engaging visual content for brands across various industries. From social media reels and advertisements to podcasts and corporate films, you'll play a key role in bringing creative ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit high-quality videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
• Edit podcasts, interviews, advertisements, promotional videos, testimonials, and brand campaigns.
• Add captions, transitions, sound effects, background music, motion graphics, and basic animations.
• Perform color correction and audio enhancement and ensure videos meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with content strategists, designers, photographers, and videographers.
• Organize project files and ensure timely delivery of assigned projects.
• Stay updated with the latest editing trends, social media formats, and AI-powered editing tools.
• Suggest creative ideas to improve storytelling and audience engagement.

Requirements:

• Basic to advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar editing software.
• Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Portfolio or sample work is preferred.
• Candidates must have their own laptop and be able to bring it to the office, as it is essential for this role.

Eligibility

Full-Time: 1+ year of experience is preferred. Freshers with exceptional editing skills and a strong portfolio are also encouraged to apply.
