Responsibilities
- Own the full video editing pipeline - from rough cuts to polished final exports.
- Build strong visual stories that actually engage (not just pretty, but purposeful).
- Collaborate with teams to shape briefs, storyboards, and visual direction.
- Guide and review the work of other editors when needed - bring out their best.
- Create lightweight motion graphics and Lottie animations for product and UI videos.
- Stay ahead of trends - but also know when to ignore them.
- Keep your workflow tight using tools like After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Use of Figma and AI tools like Runway ML, MidJourney, Descript, ElevenLabs, etc to speed up and elevate output.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of strong editing experience in tech, SaaS, or product-driven companies.
- Proven track record of creating content that performs on digital and social platforms.
- An eye for colour grading and cinematic transitions.
- Hands-on experience with motion graphics and creating micro-animations (bonus if you've worked with Lottie).
- Ability to lead shoots, guide junior editors, and give solid creative direction.
- Strong command of industry-standard video editing and design tools.
- Familiarity with AI creative tools and workflows to boost productivity and quality.
