About the Role

We are looking for a creative and fast-paced Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, trend-driven content for Instagram and other social media platforms. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with tight turnaround times and have a strong understanding of current social media video trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging and trend-driven short-form videos from raw footage within 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the content.
• Create videos suitable for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
• Apply fast cuts, transitions, captions, effects, music, and other elements aligned with current social media trends.
• Edit podcasts, interviews, and long-form recordings into polished content and short-form clips.
• Repurpose raw footage into multiple social media-friendly formats.
• Ensure videos are visually engaging and maintain the required brand tone and quality.
• Stay updated with the latest Instagram and social media editing trends, formats, and styles.
• Work closely with the content and creative teams to understand briefs and deliver videos within deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media video editing, especially short-form content.
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and fast-cut video trends.
• Experience in podcast/video interview editing.
• Ability to work efficiently and deliver quality output within short turnaround times.
• Strong sense of timing, pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
• Ability to work from office in Trivandrum, Kerala.

Added Advantage

• Graphic design skills will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools.
• Experience creating thumbnails, social media creatives, or motion graphics.
