Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Editor located in Hyderabad. The Video Editor will be responsible for shooting, video production, video editing, video color grading, motion graphics, and graphics.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute video shoots, including scripting, storyboarding, and shot planning
- Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage
- Direct on-set action and manage talent during filming
- Edit raw footage into polished content using professional editing software
- Cut, trim, and arrange clips to create coherent narratives
- Perform color correction, color grading, and audio syncing
- Add music, voiceovers, sound effects, and subtitles as needed
- Create and integrate CGI elements, motion graphics, and 3D models
- Composite visual effects seamlessly into live-action footage
- Troubleshoot rendering issues and manage render pipelines
- Organize project files and maintain structured storage for assets
- Manage production timelines, deadlines, and budgets
- Communicate with clients or stakeholders to incorporate feedback
- Maintain and troubleshoot production and post-production equipment
- Backup footage and ensure data security
- Optimize workflows for speed and efficiency
- Collaborate with creative teams on visual storytelling and branding
- Stay up-to-date on editing and CGI trends, tools, and techniques
- Pitch creative ideas and contribute to content strategy
Qualifications
- Video Production and Video Editing skills
- Should know CGI
- Video Color Grading, Motion Graphics, and Graphics skills
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite or other video editing software
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Bonus: If you're able to shoot with a camera and edit
