Job Description:

As a Video Editor at the university, you will play a crucial role in the post-production process, turning raw footage into polished, professional videos. You will work closely with our creative team to create content that captures our audience's attention and communicates our brand's message effectively. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and creative skills will be essential in bringing our vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into high-quality videos, including short-form content, promotional videos, and longer-form narratives.
• Color Correction and Grading: Enhance the visual appeal of videos through color correction, grading, and maintaining visual consistency.
• Audio Editing: Ensure clear and high-quality audio by editing sound effects, music, voiceovers, and adjusting audio levels.
• Transitions and Effects: Incorporate transitions, animations, and visual effects to elevate the visual storytelling.
• Storytelling: Collaborate with the creative team to understand the narrative and intended message, ensuring the video content effectively conveys the story and brand identity.

Qualifications:

● Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio of completed projects.

● Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro

● Good knowledge of Adobe After Effects

● Strong understanding of color correction, audio editing, and visual effects.

● Excellent knowledge of video codecs, formats, and compression techniques.

● Ability to work collaboratively and meet project deadlines.

● Attention to detail and a creative mindset.

● Strong communication skills.

● Bachelor's degree in film, media, or a related field (preferred but not required).
