Better Vision Media is hiring a Video Editor. We're looking for someone who is creative, detail-oriented and understands how to turn raw footage into engaging, polished and platform-appropriate video content. Someone who follows current editing trends, understands visual storytelling and can work across different styles, brands and personalities.
Location: Ahmedabad (near Shyamal Cross Roads)

Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and other digital platforms.
- Edit reels, interviews, podcasts, personal branding content and other social media formats.
- Transform raw footage into engaging videos using appropriate pacing, transitions, music, text, graphics and visual elements.
- Understand briefs and translate content ideas and scripts into visually strong video outputs.
- Add subtitles, captions, motion graphics, sound effects, B-roll and other elements wherever required.
- Work closely with content strategists, graphic designers and other members of the creative team.
- Adapt editing styles according to different clients, industries, audiences and brand identities.
- Stay updated with social media video trends, editing styles, transitions and emerging content formats.
- Organise and manage raw footage, project files and final video assets efficiently.
- Incorporate internal and client feedback accurately and within defined timelines.
- Handle multiple video projects simultaneously while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Ensure all final videos meet the required technical specifications and quality standards before publishing.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Final Cut Pro. Knowledge of DaVinci Resolveis preferred but not compulsory.
- Good understanding of video composition, pacing, transitions, typography, sound design and visual storytelling.
- Experience editing content specifically for Instagram Reels, YouTube, podcasts and other digital platforms.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of motion graphics and animation will be strongly preferred.
- Ability to identify suitable B-roll, music, sound effects and visual references to enhance storytelling.
- Basic understanding of English language (compulsory).
- Strong understanding of current social media editing trends and audience behaviour.
- Ability to work with different video styles instead of following a single editing template.
- Strong attention to detail with a good visual and creative sense.
- Ability to understand briefs, take feedback constructively and execute revisions efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable collaborating with content strategists, designers and other members of the creative team.
- Prior experience working with a creative agency, media company or multiple freelance client accounts will be preferred.
