Job Description
Company Description Artoon Games is dedicated to delivering engaging and high-quality entertainment experiences through mobile games. The team focuses on creating fun, visually appealing, and user-friendly game content for a global audience.
Responsibilities:
• Create UGC-style ads with real or AI-generated characters explaining our games
• Cut gameplay-recording ads with punchy VFX, text overlays, transitions, and hooks
• Design sound - layered SFX synced to visuals (the beep-boop-yay that makes casual game ads work)
• Build multiple variants of top performing ads using different hooks, CTAs, music, pacing
• Iterate fast based on UA performance feedback
• Coordinate with Marketing R&D on concepts, 2D Artist and Spine Animator on assets, UA on delivery
Must-have skills:
• 1–4 yrs hands-on video editing for short-form advertising or social media
• Strong with at least one editor: Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut / CapCut Pro
• Motion graphics / VFX (After Effects or equivalent) kinetic typography, transitions, effects
• Sound design - layered SFX, music timing, audio mixing for mobile
• Understanding of mobile ad hooks, CTAs, pacing, and ad-network specs (aspect ratios, durations)
• Reel showing short-form ad-style video work - mandatory
Mobile game or app ad experience preferred. Candidates from social content, agency ads, or short-form YouTube backgrounds are all acceptable if the reel shows the right style. Long-form editors (weddings, corporate, documentaries) are not a fit.
AI skills we expect:
Aggressive use of AI video tools - Google Flow / HeyGen / Synthesia (avatars), Runway / Kling / Pika (video generation), Descript (script-based editing), ElevenLabs (voice), Suno (music), Topaz (upscaling). AI-first workflow is core to this role, not optional.
