Role Description The Video Editor role at Ankashram is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role involves editing video content for various platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and storytelling objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, selecting and sequencing clips, adding transitions and effects, and incorporating sound, graphics, and motion elements to create compelling narratives. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the creative and data storytelling teams to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visual content. The role also includes color grading, optimizing video formats for different channels, and maintaining organized project files and archives.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including working with raw footage and assembling polished final outputs.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual tone and quality across all content.
• Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and data visualization in video content.
• Familiarity with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
• Ability to interpret creative briefs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt content for different platforms and audiences.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial; a portfolio demonstrating video editing and motion graphics work is required.
