Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Social Media and Video Editor to enhance our brand's online presence through engaging and trend-driven content. You will play a key role in managing social media platforms, ensuring content consistency, and maintaining brand guidelines across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
As part of the social media team, you will edit videos, schedule content, and analyze trends to drive audience engagement. Your creativity and attention to detail will help shape our brand's identity across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management & Content Strategy:
Manage daily posting schedules across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone, style, and messaging.
Collaborate with content creators and designers to develop engaging visuals and videos tailored to each platform.
Monitor audience engagement, respond to comments/messages, and contribute to community management.

Video Editing & Content Creation:
Edit and produce high-quality videos optimized for various social media channels.
Implement motion graphics, text overlays, and effects to enhance video content.
Create short-form content like Reels, Shorts, and TikToks, ensuring they match platform-specific trends.
Repurpose long-form video content into bite-sized clips suitable for social media.

Trend Analysis & Optimization:
Stay updated on the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to inform content strategy.
Identify viral trends, hashtags, and challenges that align with the brand's identity.
Track content performance metrics and suggest optimizations for better engagement and reach.

Collaboration & Brand Consistency:
Work closely with the marketing and video production team to develop strategic content plans.
Ensure all posts and videos adhere to brand guidelines, maintaining a cohesive and professional look.
Assist in campaign planning by brainstorming creative ideas for social-first content.

Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, VEED, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
Strong understanding of social media algorithms and best practices for organic reach.

Social Media Expertise:
Hands-on experience with Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
Knowledge of content scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Buffer).
Ability to write engaging social media captions, hashtags, and CTAs to boost engagement.

Other Key Skills:
Strong attention to detail with a focus on polished and professional content.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple tasks.
Prior experience in social media handling, video editing, or content creation (internships/freelance work preferred).
