The Social Lions is a creative-led marketing agency focused on producing impactful digital content. We are looking for a Video Editor & Photographer who can elevate our visual output with strong storytelling, technical skill and a sharp creative eye.

Role Overview

This role requires someone who can handle both video editing and photography with confidence. You should be comfortable leading shoots, managing timelines and delivering clean, platform-ready content. We're looking for someone who understands brand direction, communicates well, adapts quickly and takes ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing

Edit videos for social media, campaigns and digital platforms.

Work on colour grading, sound, transitions and overall polish.

Deliver formats suitable for Instagram, YouTube and ads.

Photography

Shoot high-quality images for campaigns, events, products and lifestyle content.

Plan and execute shoots including lighting, framing and setup.

Post-Production

Handle colour correction, sound mixing and final exports.

Create basic to mid-level motion graphics when needed.

Collaboration & Timelines

Work with the creative team to bring briefs to life.

Ensure all shoots and edits are completed on schedule.

Skill Requirements

Experience in both video editing and photography with relevant work samples.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.

Hands-on experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras (Canon/Sony preferred).

Strong understanding of lighting, composition and colour.

12 years of agency or similar experience is preferred.
