Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and versatile Video Editor & Motion Graphic Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should be highly creative, detail-oriented, and skilled in transforming ideas into compelling visual stories. You will work across video editing, graphic design, motion graphics, animation, and brand communication for digital and print media. This role requires strong aesthetic judgment, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced agency environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Design and Creative Development
- Develop creative concepts, graphics, and layouts for social media, digital campaigns, and brand communications.
- Design marketing collateral such as brochures, catalogs, presentations, posters, flyers, digital ads, and pitch decks.
- Create visually engaging assets for digital, social, and print (brand identity, website graphics, banners, etc.).
- Collaborate with content, digital, and project teams to translate ideas into impactful visual stories.
- Ensure all designs maintain brand consistency, visual quality, and adherence to design guidelines.
2) Video Editing
- Edit short-form and long-form videosincluding brand films, social edits, product videos, explainers, and training modules.
- Organize and structure raw footage into clean, engaging, and purposeful narratives.
- Perform sound correction, pacing adjustments, removal of noise, and smooth transitions.
- Add text overlays, zooms, highlights, supporting graphics, and visual cues to enhance clarity.
- Maintain consistency and high production value across multiple video assets.
3) Motion Graphics and Animation
- Create motion graphics, 2D animations, illustrations, and animated elements for campaigns.
- Develop kinetic typography, animated icons, explainer-style graphics, and storyboard-based animations.
- Build reusable animation templates to improve production efficiency.
- Stay updated with video, animation, and design trends to keep content fresh and engaging.
4) Brand Identity & Design Quality
- Maintain a cohesive visual style across all design and video outputs.
- Perform color correction, color grading, and visual enhancement for premium-quality results.
- Design branded templates title cards, intros, lower thirds, transitions, and end screens.
- Ensure every asset aligns with the brand's voice, values, and visual standards.
5) Team Collaboration and Execution
- Work closely with creative strategists, designers, video editors, and project managers.
- Integrate storyboards, scripts, flow diagrams, and reference material into final outputs.
- Guide clients/presenters on video shoots and best content practices when required.
- Participate in creative reviews, present concepts, take feedback, and iterate effectively.
- Maintain version control, meet timelines, and deliver high-quality assets consistently.
6) Asset Management and Trend Analysis
- Organize and maintain a structured digital asset library for easy future access.
- Conduct design, animation, and content trend research to maximize audience engagement.
- Work with analytics teams to design visually clear data graphics, charts, and infographics.
Requirements:
- 13 years of professional experience in graphic design, video editing, or motion graphics.
- Minimum 1 year of agency experience (mandatory).
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
- Additional familiarity with Figma, Canva, and DaVinci Resolve is preferred
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and visual hierarchy.
- Knowledge of UI/UX basics and modern motion design principles is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or in a team.
- Strong communication skills, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail.
- A portfolio showcasing video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design work is required.
