Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Video Editor & Motion Graphics Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong sense of visual storytelling, corporate communication, and a deep understanding of various industries and startups. As an Editor & Motion Designer, you will not only shape the narrative flow of our video content but also elevate it with custom motion graphics, kinetic typography, and dynamic visual design that resonate with our clients and their audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing and Visual Storytelling:

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into cohesive, engaging stories, enhancing clarity, flow, and narrative impact while maintaining brand voice and tone.
• Shape compelling narratives aligned with client objectives, particularly for commercial, corporate, and startup communications.
• Distill complex concepts into visually engaging and easy-to-understand video formats.

Motion Graphic Design and Animation:

• Design and execute motion graphics, animated titles, lower thirds, seamless transitions, and UI/UX animations to enhance the core narrative.
• Integrate graphic elements organically during the editing process to reinforce pacing and visual interest.
• Ensure all motion design work strictly adheres to client brand guidelines, color theories, and typographic standards.

Industry Research and Insight:

• Develop a strong understanding of client industries, including startups, to provide relevant context and authenticity to video content.
• Stay updated with digital media trends, editing styles, and motion design innovations to keep content fresh and impactful.

Collaboration and Project Management:

• Work closely with producers and creative leads from rough cut to final delivery.
• Manage editorial calendars, meet deadlines, and juggle multiple post-production projects effectively.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders smoothly and ensure the timely delivery of broadcast-quality assets.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in video editing combined with a robust portfolio demonstrating advanced motion graphic design capabilities.
• Expert proficiency in industry-standard post-production suites (Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; familiarity with DaVinci Resolve or other design tools is a strong plus).
• Strong foundation in design principles, typography, composition, and rhythm/sound design.
• Familiarity with startup ecosystems and corporate industries.
• Ability to simplify complex ideas and create engaging visual narratives.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Passion for storytelling, innovation, and media production.
