Role Overview
We are looking for a Video Editor / Cinematographer who can handle both shooting and editing for Kadence's digital content. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, creative visual sense, and the ability to create high-quality videos for social media, ads, product shoots, campaigns, and brand content.
The person should be confident with camera handling, lighting setup, video editing, basic set design, and creating visually aesthetic content.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot high-quality videos for social media, product campaigns, reels, ads, YouTube content, and brand shoots.
- Edit videos with strong storytelling, clean cuts, smooth transitions, color correction, and sound balancing.
- Handle complete video production from shooting to final edit.
- Set up lighting based on the mood, product, campaign, and shoot requirement.
- Work closely with the content and marketing team to execute planned shoots.
- Understand visual aesthetics, framing, camera angles, background setup, and set design.
- Create engaging video content for Instagram, YouTube, website, marketplace, and ad platforms.
- Maintain consistency in Kadence's brand look, tone, and visual style.
- Manage footage, organize files, and deliver final edits within timelines.
- Support indoor and outdoor shoots whenever required.
Technical Requirements
- The candidate should have strong working knowledge of:
- Final Cut Pro / FCP
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Sony A7 III camera operation
- Godox SL60 and SL150 lights
- Gimbal handling and stabilization
- Basic audio syncing, color correction, and video formatting for different platforms
- After effects
Skills Required
- Strong video editing and cinematography skills.
- Good understanding of lighting, composition, framing, and camera movement.
- Aesthetic sense for set design, backgrounds, props, and shoot styling.
- Ability to shoot product videos, lifestyle videos, reels, ads, and performance-based content.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced content environment.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Should be responsible, punctual, and able to manage shoot deadlines.
