Location: Hybrid (In-office 3 days/week)
Role: Full-time Video Editor
Location: Gomti Nagar Vistar, Lucknow
What This Role Really Is:
You are responsible for retention.
Not just clean edits-attention engineering.
If viewers drop, the edit failed.
What You'll Actually Do:
Edit high-retention YouTube videos (8-15 mins)
Use After Effects to create clean, sharp motion graphics that enhance storytelling
Design pattern interrupts (text animations, zooms, visual hooks) that keep viewers engaged
Fix pacingremove dead zones completely
Build strong hooks in the first 30 seconds
Use b-roll, overlays, and visual storytelling intentionally
Repurpose into Shorts/Reels with high virality potential
What You Must Understand:
Audience retention > visual aesthetics
Why viewers drop off (and how to fix it)
Curiosity gap, tension, payoff
Editing for business content where pacing is everything
Core Skills Required:
Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro / Final Cut / After Effects
Solid working knowledge of After Effects
Motion graphics that are clean, fast, and purposeful
Strong storytelling + pacing instinct
Ability to think like a viewer
Understanding of YouTube performance
Compensation:
