Role Overview

We are looking for a Video Editor who brings together craft, speed, storytelling instinct, and strong aesthetic judgment. This role demands someone who can shape compelling edits across formats while maintaining a sharp eye for rhythm, detail, design sensibility, and finishing quality.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across traditional editing workflows as well as emerging AI-enabled tools that can enhance quality, efficiency, and output without compromising creative standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the brief, creative intent, and communication objective of each project.
• Edit high-quality videos across mainline campaigns, digital films, reels, Avs, promos, social media assets, and pitch films.
• Bring strong editing aesthetics to the table, with a refined sense of pace, structure, mood, transitions, and storytelling flow.
• Use music, sound design, sync, and audio balancing effectively to enhance the overall impact of the film.
• Integrate graphics, supers, and motion elements where required to elevate the final output.
• Support grading sensibility and ensure the visual treatment aligns with the intended look and feel.
• Prepare outputs and adaptations across multiple media platforms and technical formats.
• Work with AI-powered tools to improve speed, efficiency, enhancement, clean-up, and high-quality video creation wherever relevant to the brief.
• Research references and support pitch edits as per the creative team's direction.
• Coordinate closely with the creative team, directors, designers, studios, and clients when required.
• Visit shoots when needed to assist with on-floor editing and content flow.
• Manage and maintain the footage and project library with precision, ensuring proper organisation, version control, retrieval efficiency, and archival discipline.

Software Skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• After Effects
• DaVinci Resolve
• AI-based video tools and workflows will be a strong advantage

What We're Looking For

• A strong eye for editing aesthetics and visual storytelling
• Good sense of film language, rhythm, and emotional timing
• Understanding of sound, music placement, and audio leveling
• Working knowledge of grading sensibility, formats, codecs, and delivery outputs
• Organised approach to project management and footage library handling
• Ability to collaborate across creative, design, and production teams
• Basic understanding of production workflows
• Knowledge of cameras, LUTs, and post-production processes
• Graphics skills will be an added advantage
