55th Creative Lab is looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor who understands storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound, and visuals that stop the scroll. We're searching for someone who can turn raw footage into engaging content that feels cinematic, sharp, and brand-driven.

What You'll Do:

• Edit high-quality reels, ads, brand films, podcasts, and social media content

• Create engaging cuts with strong storytelling, pacing, and transitions

• Add motion graphics, sound design, subtitles, effects, and colour correction

• Collaborate with the creative team to execute campaign concepts visually

• Optimise content formats for Instagram, YouTube, Meta Ads, and digital platforms

• Manage footage, timelines, exports, and project files efficiently

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in video editing

• Strong understanding of storytelling, editing rhythm, and content retention

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and other editing tools

• Knowledge of colour grading, sound design, motion graphics, and typography

• Ability to create fast-paced, engaging short-form content for social media

• Understanding of current content trends, hooks, and platform-specific edits

• Basic knowledge of cinematography and framing is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and creative visualisation skills

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with YouTube content, podcasts, and ad films

• Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Blender, or Cinema 4D

• Ability to work on AI-assisted workflows and content adaptation
