What You'll Be Editing

What You'll Do
- Edit short-form (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn) and long-form (interviews, brand films, podcasts) end to end
- Cut, sequence, and colour-correct; sync and clean audio; add motion graphics, lower-thirds, captions, and transitions
- Turn briefs into edits that nail each brand's voice and each platform's format
- Slice long-form into multiple high-performing short cuts
- Own your footage library, project files, and version control
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with content, design, and strategy to hit deadlines
- Keep a finger on trends — formats, pacing, styles that actually perform
What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years of professional editing (agency, media, or in-house brand team preferred)
- Strong command of Premiere Pro and After Effects; DaVinci Resolve & Audition a plus
- A real eye for pacing, sound design, colour, and storytelling
- Fast on social turnaround, patient on long-form craft
- Basic-to-intermediate motion graphics
- Can juggle multiple projects without hand-holding
- A showreel/portfolio that proves range(required — no reel, no review)
Bonus Points
- Experience with founder/personal-brand or thought-leadership content
- Caption/subtitle tools and AI-assisted editing workflows
- Knowing what makes content pop on Instagram, LinkedIn & YouTube
- Basic thumbnail/graphic design chops
- Sound design instinct (most editors underrate audio — don't be most editors)
